It is with great regret that I must offer for sale my thoroughbred mare. Willow is approximately 14 years old and 15hh. I have owned her for 4 years and during that time have taken her to pony club, gymkhanas, bush rides, competed to grade three horse trials and done interschool showjumping, dressage and combined training competitions to grade 2. Willow has stunning, ground covering movement and a lovely front. She is a very careful jumper and can clear 1.2m with ease (I have never tried jumping any higher). She already had two beautiful foals on the ground before I purchased her, the oldest is now nine years old. She is good to shoe, float and catch. Willow is very forward moving and can get quite hot and excitable in the dressage arena although she never bucks, rears or bolts. She has not been ridden for over four months as I have other committments and she therefore needs work and is not a beginners horse. She was covered by a riding pony stallion in 2007 but did not hold the pregnancy. Unfortunately, Willow has cancer in the third eyelid of her left eye however this does not effect her much and she is still happy to jump and be ridden as usual. The eye will probably need to be removed at some stage. As I am beginning my final year of school in 2008, I have to sell my beautiful Willow.
